Everything You Need for Parade Day
Whether you’re participating in the parade or planning where to watch, review the information below to stay informed and prepared.

Generations of Freedom
Generations of Freedom honors the idea that American freedom is not the work of a single moment, but a shared legacy shaped over 250 years. From the nation’s founding to today, each generation has played a role in building, defending, and expanding the freedoms we cherish. On America’s 250th anniversary, this year’s theme invites us to reflect on the people and events that helped define our country and the enduring ideals that unite us.
Organized by the Kiwanis Club of La Porte
The Kiwanis 4th of July Parade is proudly organized by the Kiwanis Club of La Porte. Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers with a mission to improve the world one child and one community at a time. The Kiwanis vision is to be a positive influence in communities worldwide, so that one day, all children will wake up in communities that believe in them, nurture them, and provide the support they need to thrive.
Locally, Kiwanis members volunteer their time and resources to support community events throughout the year. The parade is one of the many ways the club brings people together while supporting its mission of service and leadership.
Join the Celebration!
More than just a parade, this event celebrates service, patriotism, and community pride. Every participant, spectator, and sponsor helps carry on a tradition that unites La Porte. We invite you to join us in celebrating Independence Day and learning more about how Kiwanis makes a difference throughout the year.
